Short Course 2: The Role of Infrared Thermography in a Reliability Centered Maintenance Program
Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) has become a bit of a buzzword in the world of industrial and commercial maintenance, with organizations large and small feeling the need to get a piece of the action. Infrared Thermography is one of the most widely used technologies in the RCM “toolbox”, yet not everyone who is an IR practitioner is as versed in the understanding of what RCM is as they could be.
This course is a must for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the principles of RCM as they relate to how many programs utilize Infrared Thermography.

Course is designed for in-house and contract thermographers as well as managers of infrared inspection programs.
Instructor
Dave Sirmans is a certified Level III Thermographer, and an Infraspection Institute Master Thermographer®. Mr. Sirmans holds the Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation from The Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals, and is an Electrical Engineer with nearly 20 years’ experience in arc flash risk assessments and electrical safety program development. Dave is the President of Sirmco Reliability Consulting, LLC headquartered in Rome, Georgia.
